About Richard
Richard Currion is a fully qualified electrician with over 35 years of experience in the electrical industry, starting his career in 1987 after finishing his O levels at school. He began as an electrical apprentice at the Rover plant in Oxford, gaining early experience in the industry, followed by a role in electrical panel building for an environmental control company based in Banbury.
Richard then spent nine years working at Kraft General Foods for electrical installation companies CJ Swains of Banbury and ADI of Birmingham. During this time, he gained extensive experience in commercial and industrial electrical work, including leading teams of electricians on improvement projects throughout the plant.
He later worked as a subcontractor on larger projects, including the Diamond Project at Didcot, the John Radcliffe Hospital new building in Oxford, and the e-Science building at Oxford University.
After a period working in domestic electrical installations for a local company, Richard set up RW Currion Electrical in 2006, and has since provided reliable electrical services for homeowners, landlords and businesses across Banbury and surrounding areas.
Outside of work, Richard enjoys music, attending live gigs, and staying active with weight training and fitness.
